2008 Ruston Hot Dog Social

The Third Annual PHARA Hot Dog Social was held on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Cook Park in Ruston. The goal for these hot dog socials is to spread friendship and to open dialogs between clubs and hams from different areas of the state. There were hams in attendance from a wide area, as far south as Scott, Louisiana.
There was a testing session where some successfully passed their test. Congratulations to those people.
Brandon (N5WLG) set up his equipment for some to enjoy the challenge of finding the fox.
James (W5JC) and Debbie (KD5RWQ) were kept busy grilling hamburgers and hot dogs. There was chips, cake, cookies and home made Cinnamon rolls to eat also. The food was very delicious.
